About
An idea foundry
Perrin Research LLC is an idea foundry. The heart of the operation is translating ideas into prototypes that we measure for value. When the evidence is strong, a prototype graduates — incorporated into an existing product or launched as a new one. When an idea is static, it ships as an essay, article, or book. When it is interactive, it ships as an application.

If the idea is static
it becomes writing

- 01 Capture
- Every idea gets written down as a testable hypothesis: what it is, who it serves, and what evidence would prove it matters.
- 02 Prototype
- AI agents work each idea into a real artifact fast — a working app, a model, a draft chapter. Prototypes are cheap on purpose.
- 03 Evaluate
- Agents and humans measure the prototype against the hypothesis. Usage, accuracy, resonance — value has to show up in the data.
- 04 Ship
- High-value prototypes graduate: folded into an existing product or launched as a new one. The rest teach us something and retire.
The machinery
Agents run the foundry
AI agents do the heavy lifting: they work up prototypes, run evaluations, and keep the loop cycling. That means more ideas get tested, verdicts arrive faster, and human judgment is spent where it matters — deciding what is worth shipping.
Raw material

Computational modeling of proteins, membranes, and molecular systems at atomistic scale.
The founder
B. Scott Perrin, Jr., Ph.D.
Founded by B. Scott Perrin, Jr., Ph.D., whose background spans computational biophysics, membrane protein modeling, and pharmaceutical software engineering. Decades of peer-reviewed research and production software development inform every prototype in the pipeline.
Our work is grounded in published science, production-grade engineering practice, and direct engagement with the disease communities and technical domains we serve.
